In 2005, UC Davis was one of three employers statewide to be commended by the California Task Force on Youth and Workplace Wellness for exemplary commitment to family health promotion and lactation accommodation in the workplace. Then, in September 2006, UC Davis jointly with UC Berkeley, was one of five universities in the United States to receive the Sloan Award for Faculty Career Flexibility in recognition of our family friendly policies and programs.
